Letís Talk About It!: Jewish Literature is a program developed by the American Library Association in cooperation with Nextbook to explore the best in contemporary and classic Jewish literature. The Kehillah of Chester County, a Jewish community collaboration funded by a grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia has secured authorization from ALA to offer modified versions of the original themes, and is presenting the series in partnership with the Chester County Library. This season our focus is on graphic novels as a literary art form. The series, titled Modern Marvels of the Jewish Imagination, is divided into two parts. In Part 1 (December, January, February) we will examine the portrayal of superheroes; and in Part 2 (March, April, May) we will consider vulnerabilities. Participants may attend individual sessions, as well as the entire series. These programs are free and open to the entire community. High school students are welcome.
