In this session, we will walk around town and be inspired by the
nature that we see. We’ll begin with a few exercises to get our
creative juices flowing. Then we’ll saunter to a nearby natural area, where we’ll use all of our senses to make new discoveries.
Participants are encouraged to bring along their own journals and
sketchbooks, pens and pencils. Some will be provided, if you don't
have your own. We’ll go out in every weather, so be prepared with good walking shoes and appropriate attire. Let’s go outside, pay attention, and write about our experience!
Led by Corinne H. Smith, nature blog writer and author of “Henry David Thoreau for Kids.”
