Event Type: Adults
Date: 11/3/2013
Start Time: 1:30 PM
End Time: 4:30 PM
Engineer, inventor, futurist, and shoman - Nikola Tesla has been called all of these and more. His eclectic interests made him world-famous, but few know just how influential his work has been on science as we know it.

Join Howard Lipman, a local author and member of the Tesla Science Foundation, and others for this book, film, and art presentation on "Why Tesla Matters."

This event will feature videos relating to Tesla, an electronic music demonstration by local composer Laura Todd, and a display of various Tesla devices, including the Theremin. Come one and all! All ages are welcome. Call Howard at 484-888-1582 for more information.

Howard Lipman is a Board Member of the Tesla Science Foundation. He's also an author of fantasy works, such as 'Songs and Stories from Tesla's Tower.' He was a presenter at the 2013 Tesla Memorial Conference at the Hotel New Yorker last January, a conference set up by the Foundation, and is currently involved in coordinating the 2014 Tesla Memorial Conference.
