This is a 10-week course that provides an exceptional opportunity to begin learning the concepts of computer programming. Each week’s activities builds on the previous week’s work. The curriculum is provided by Girls Who Code, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to close the gender gap in technology. Our facilitator will lead the students through the course work which includes the concepts of loops, variables, conditionals, and functions that form the basis for all programming languages — whether you want to build a website, an app, or a robot.Library: Henrietta Hankin Branch Library
