Ages 3-5 with caregiver. Join a naturalist from Green Valleys Watershed Association for these FREE educational programs to learn more about the natural world through interactive demonstrations, stories, and take-home crafts. Each theme offers different activities, so sign up for one or all four. They're naturally fun!Library: Phoenixville Public Library
Space is limited; registration required. Non-participating siblings are welcome.
Fall 2019 Schedule:
September 20 - "Fall Color Fun!" Play a game, examine plants and animal pelts, and get creative with paints as we have fun learning about the amazing autumn colors that nature displays.
October 18 - "Animal Disguises." Discover how animals hide and copy each other when you meet some puppet friends and touch real animal pelts, feathers, and shells. Then create an animal mask to try out this trickery yourself!
November 15 - "Nature's Music." Listen to the sounds that nature creates that is music to our ears. Play a game, create a rainstorm, and make your own instrument to take home.
December 13 - "Animal Tracks and Traces." Uncover the mysteries of different animals found in your neighborhood through investigation of tracks and traces they leave behind. Create your own field guide to take home.
