 This program will provide college planning information for parents/guardians and high school students. We will discuss:
• Finding the "right fit" college
• How to create a college list
• Making successful college visits
• Factors colleges consider
• Trends in college admissions

Shari Chappell, M.Ed. is a College Counselor with over 17 years of experience in the field of secondary education and counseling. She helps students and parents find the colleges that are the “best fit” academically, socially and financially. She began her career as a high school counselor at a nationally ranked, selective public high school in NJ for ten years. Shari transitioned to the position of College and Career Counselor at the high school for 6 years. She also spent two years working in the admissions office at Lehigh University while pursuing her graduate degree there. She has helped hundreds of students through the college selection process.

Shari Chappell provides personalized attention to the student in order to discover his/her interests and passions. She possesses a wealth of knowledge about the college admissions process and believes that the process should be fun and stress free.
