Ages 3-5 with caregiver. Join a naturalist from Green Valleys Watershed Association for these FREE educational programs to learn more about the natural world through interactive demonstrations, stories, and take-home crafts. Each theme offers different activities, so sign up for one or all four. They're naturally fun! Space is limited; registration required. Non-participating siblings are welcome.Library: Phoenixville Public Library
Winter/Spring 2019 Schedule:
January 18 - "Oh Deer!" Play a game, touch a deer pelt and antlers, and make your own deer craft to find out more about this common creature.
February 15 - "Winter Wildlife." Learn from our puppet friends how animals keep warm in our cold winter months, and help feed your neighborhood songbirds when you create a feeder to take home.
March 15 - "Backyard Birds." Discover the many bird species that make our community their home. Learn some common bird songs and calls, examine feathers, and use different tools to discover more about our feathered friends.
April 26 - "Wild About Water." Investigate what lives in our streams and ponds through activities and visits from some puppet friends.
