The Writing Circle at Henrietta Hankin

Event Type: Adults
Date: 1/8/2019
Start Time: 10:00 AM
End Time: 12:30 PM
Continuing into the new year by popular demand! Need an encouraging nudge to begin or continue a personal writing project? The Writing Circle at Henrietta Hankin continues into the new year with the help of Susan Weidener. Susan is a writing instructor and the author of two best-selling memoirs and one fiction novel. The sessions will focus on a timed free write based on a writing prompt. Participants will then come back in the circle to share what they have written. Throughout the sharing is a time to discuss the craft of writing. Participants could also opt to bring something they have written i.e. an excerpt from a work-in-progress. Susan stresses that this is NOT a critique group, rather a supportive group of writers engaged in sharing and learning. The group is open to all genres and experience levels.

Registration for each individual session is recommended as it helps the instructor in her preparations.
