County histories, books of church records, family histories, naturalization records and many other resources for genealogical research information are available from the State Library of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg. Kathy Hale, Supervisor for Public Services, State Library of Pennsylvania will be on hand to discuss DAR reports, PA newspapers to the 1700s, passenger lists and more! Discover all the resources available to you through the State Library of Pennsylvania.Kathy Hale is the Supervisor for Public Services and the Regional Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) Advisor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She had worked for the State Library for twenty years. Ms. Hale has been part of many projects in her tenure at the State Library including coordinator of Genealogy Day at the State Library 2007-2009, and reference librarian both real and virtual. This program supports the PA Forward Civic and Social Literacy Initiative.
