|Girls Who Code Club|
Event Type: Computer/Tech|
Start Time: 6:00 PM
End Time: 7:30 PM
This 8-week course provides an excellent opportunity to begin learning the concepts of computer programming. Girls Who Code (www.girlswhocode.com), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to close the gender gap in technology, provides the curriculum. Each week’s activities will build on the previous week’s work. Our facilitator will encourage the participants to work through the activity sets to learn the concepts of loops, variables, conditionals, and functions that form the basis for all programming languages. It is important to plan to attend all eight classes to complete your project.Library: Chester County Library & District Center
